Medical Tourism Readiness Analysis

The readiness analysis measures how prepared an institution actually is to accept international patients today. Web presence, language capacity, documentation, enquiry flow and compliance are scored in one list and gaps are put in priority order. The point is to close visible gaps before promotion begins.

The authorisation process asks for concrete things: a minimum score in the quality standards assessment, a health-tourism unit meeting diploma and foreign-language requirements, and a website where a foreign patient can easily find information. The readiness analysis turns the digital side of these obligations into an auditable list.

What the analysis covers

The work runs across six headings: institutional identity and transparency, language and accessibility, treatment information structure, enquiry and communication flow, data and privacy, measurement infrastructure. For each heading we produce an itemised list of what is missing and who will complete it, rather than a yes/partial/no score.

The value is in the ordering, not the naming. A thirty-item gap list changes nothing when delivered; writing which five come first does.

The most common website gaps

When a foreign patient lands on a page they look for three things: who the institution is, how the treatment proceeds and how to reach someone. The gaps we see most often in Turkish institutional sites cluster in the first: identity, address, team and authorisation information are either missing or available only in Turkish.

Second most common: treatment pages written in institutional language rather than around the patient's question. Technical terms listed under "Our Services" answer none of the questions patients actually ask — how long does it take, how many days must I stay, can a companion travel with me.

What we check on web readiness

  • Institutional identity, address and contact details visible in every language
  • Process, duration, preparation and follow-up information on treatment pages
  • A foreign-language enquiry form, post-submission message and a stated response time
  • Privacy, cookie and data-processing texts published in the relevant language
  • Mobile accessibility, page speed and form usability

What the report leaves with the institution

Three things: a prioritised gap list, an internal owner for each gap and a workable sequence. Without all three, readiness work becomes a list everyone knows and nobody owns.

The report also states which market and treatment line are realistic for the institution as it stands today. That is the most concrete output for preventing early promotional spend.

01

Institutional transparency

Identity, address, team and authorisation information visible in every language is the first step of trust.

02

Language and access

Not just translation — a flow where a patient asking in that language actually gets an answer.

03

Enquiry resilience

Whether form, WhatsApp and telephone land in the same record, and how long the first reply takes.

Working sequence

How we move, step by step

  1. 01
    Inventory

Current site, content, channels, forms and documents are listed.

  2. 02
    Six-heading audit

Identity, language, treatment information, enquiry flow, data and measurement are checked one by one.

  3. 03
    Gap analysis

Each gap is scored on impact, effort and owner.

  4. 04
    Priority order

First 30 days, first 90 days and later are separated.

  5. 05
    Hand-over

The report is read with internal owners; each item is tied to a role, not a person.

Frequently asked questions

What institutions ask most about this

Does the readiness analysis replace the authorisation application?

No. The application runs through Ministry of Health and USHAŞ processes. The analysis reviews only digital and communication readiness; official application, document verification and legal assessment are outside our scope.

What information do you need from us?

Access to the current site, a list of published content, the channels in use, the health-tourism unit's language capacity and, if available, an anonymised summary of enquiry records. We do not request patient data.

How long does it take?

Two to four weeks depending on institution size. The main variable is the availability of internal stakeholders for interviews.

Do you also do the implementation afterwards?

We can if the institution prefers, but it is not required. The report is written clearly enough for another supplier or an internal team to act on.

Is it useful for a small clinic?

Yes. The list is shorter in smaller institutions but the prioritisation problem is identical, and the decision about where a limited budget goes matters even more.

Does the report evaluate our current agency?

We do not assess supplier performance. The review looks at whether outcomes align with institutional goals; it does not produce judgements about individuals or firms.
